ARC Race School for Intermediate/Advanced Drivers

The American Racing Club holds racing schools to safely allow drivers to gain the experience and comfort necessary to race their cars in the American Racing Club Series.

The ARC's Racing School will teach greater car control, increased track awareness, effective passing techniques (including in corners, under braking, etc), race starts, and other critical skills required for racing and advanced open tracking. You'll get more than two hours of intensive classroom time each day. The theory taught in the classroom is put into practice through two+ hours of on-track coaching, with a compelling 2:1 student to instructor ratio. The instructors are race-seasoned who will share their considerable first-hand experience with you. The increase in confidence and skill you'll have after completing this class will be significant.

Although you'll be on the track with race students only, you'll be immersed in the race environment in most every way, seeing how a race is put on. This is different than most schools, where you learn in a Driver's Education environment then find yourself unfamiliar with a racing environment. Being part of the ARC means seeing how the races run, going through tech, and much more. At the very least it will be a confidence-building experience that will make you a much better driver at NCRC events. At the very best, you'll discover the American Racing Club's excitement and the joy of driving at next level.

This class will be limited to the first 12 students. You must be a NCRC intermediate or advanced driver to participate. Non-NCRC drivers will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Successful completion of the ARC Racing School certifies you for the ARC race series, should you chose that path. You do not need a race-prepared car since you won't be racing, but one that would pass the NCRC tech-inspection. Whether you've wondered if racing is for you, know racing is where you want to be, or just want more technique and confidence at NCRC track days, this is a safe, controlled way to build those necessary skills. Besides, it'll be unbelievably exciting, and an experience you'll remember.

The next Race School is November 18-19, 2006 at Thunderhill Raceway. Make your registration deposit HERE today to hold your spot!
