Community
ARC is built on it's members and the friendships we're all building at the
track. As such, we have a variety of member benefits and a message board
to keep us all in touch.
Membership
ARC membership is $40, and entitles you to
register for all events the ARC or it's regional Driver's Ed/Open Tracking group NCRC holds.
Memebership is good for one year. Attendance at events will be
limited, so you'll need to sign up early. Use the
Registration page to join the ARC.
Once you're registered, you'll receive official club information
via email. We will not be maintaining a paper mailing list, so you must be
accessible via email if you want to receive official notices about events, etc.
If for some reason you think you haven't been receiving any notices, please
send Dave a note and he'll check it
out. Non-members are welcome to add their name to our
mailing
list for new events, though we open them to members a bit
earlier than the general public.
Message Board
ARC's message board is the
location to chat with other ARC and NCRC members, ask questions about
upcoming events, and keep in touch with all the action! We also post
official ARC communications on the board. It is also available for use by
non-ARC members.
Member Appreciation Program
The American Racing Club
recognizes there are many choices for racing events.
Racing-time versus down-time, excitement level, price, and other
factors go into selecting which
club you choose for your driving experience. This club was
founded to create a racing format that would meet these
requirements, and put the excitement back into club racing. Member input has
always been heard, we strive for consistent improvement, and are
never satisfied with a rating of 'good enough.' Honestly, we
want to be the best.
We value our members, and want to show
it. Whether you're new to the club, or a long-term racer
with us, we have some things will make your experience with
the American Racing Club that much better. The Member
Appreciation Program is for you.
Member Referral
Get $50 off your next event by getting a
new member to sign up and attend a race! Just have him or her
write your name on the registration form.
Cancellation Policy
As of Feb 1, 2006, we've modified our
cancellation policy as follows. If you cancel two weeks before the
event, we give a full refund. Within two weeks of the event, we credit
half of your event payment to a future event, but as of 48 hours before
the day the event begins there are NO refunds or credits given. This
includes multiple day events, even if your car breaks the morning of day
one. We'll feel bad for you since we truly want you to enjoy what
you paid for. However, we must cover the costs of the event that are
fully committed once the event starts, or there won't be an ARC in the
future. This is a generous policy among track clubs. All ARC credits are
held with us for two years before they expire, so you have plenty of time
to use them.
Purchasing
AMB Timers
ARC is using AMB timing for all races. You will be
able to rent a timer at the track, or you can purchase a hard-wired
transponder through NCRC at
their site. |
